In June, we were invited to Fidelis College to judge their miniature garden competition. Children, aged 4-11, are invited to take part every year, around the time of the Chelsea Flower Show. This year the title was ‘Out of this world’.
We had a lovely morning at the school, judging about 20 very impressive and varied miniature gardens. Just like the Chelsea Flower Show, the gardens were awarded bronze, silver or gold certificates. Then we had the difficult task of choosing ‘Best in Show’!
We are hoping that some of the children may take part in our Late Summer Show.
