At our annual prize giving evening on 23 October, the winners were presented with their medals, trophies and certificates.
We also honoured Tony Pizzoferro, who was Chair of Lambeth Horticultural Society for 40 years. He was presented with the Royal Horticultural Society’s Recognition Certificate and becomes a lifelong member of the Lambeth Horticultural Society.
Prizegiving was followed by refreshments and a lively quiz. Who knew that the Victorians’ ‘gillyflowers’ were carnations?
