Sunday 22 September Open Day at West Norwood Cemetery
Our free spring bulb planting workshops run throughout the event. You’ll learn how to plant a ‘lasagna’ of spring bulbs, take away your pot and enjoy the show of flowers in spring!
Places are limited so please sign up when you arrive.
Please note this activity is not designed as a children’s event.
The event is organised by West Norwood Cemetery. Our stall will be with others in the entrance area of the cemetery just on the corner of Norwood Road and Robson Road.
There are lots of other activities too – check out the website.
Sunday 6 October Roots & Shoots Goes Wild!
We will be having a stall at this exciting community event – come and say hello!
A chance to buy a great range of gardening goods from our pop up Hut, chat to friendly experts about your horticultural queries and join the Society as you take your gardening to the next level.
The day promises a variety of nature-centric activities, engaging workshops, enlightening tours, and stalls filled with garden delights and delicious grub.
Nestled in the heart of the city, Roots and Shoots is a flourishing oasis that has transformed a once-polluted brownfield site into a thriving habitat for diverse wildlife. This year’s event features special furry, scaly and many-legged guests from Wild Science, who are excited to meet our community and teach us all about food webs! More details here.
Entrance £3 adults £1 children under 16. Tickets at the gate.
