Three new members joined the Committee in March. Sarah Bailey, pictured above, is our new Outings Officer.
“I moved to West Norwood in 2021 as lockdown confirmed my need for a garden over the balcony I had! Unfortunately the garden came with a house that needed a lot of work, so the gardening is slow to progress.
I would love to have a fully edible garden, so that is my goal. I’m very concerned with my environment so use only natural products inside the house and in the garden. I’m trying my hardest to use as little plastic as possible (although shops do not make that easy).
I’d love to setup a local neighbourhood edible garden once my own is established. I’m looking forward to organising some, hopefully, interesting outings.”

We also welcomed Martin and Richard to the Committee at the AGM on March 22. Members have probably met them already, working hard at flower shows and the Hut. But if not, do say hello when you see them.
