Its’s all happening at The Hut.
Firstly, we’re delighted to announce that The Hut is reopening on Saturdays from 2 April from 2 – 4.30 pm, in addition to Sundays 10 am – 12.30.
We’d love more volunteers for the Hut team, for Saturdays or Sundays. You don’t need to commit to every week – the more volunteers we can recruit, the more we can share the work – and you’ll be paid in tea, cake and a staff discount on goods purchased.
Secondly, our Trading Secretary is standing down after 15 very successful years – thank you, Eveline! The Trading Hut provides the income that funds so many of our other activities, so we’re very keen to keep it going. Could you take over? The role could be shared between two or more people.
Eveline says:
“When I volunteered to take on the role, I took pot luck to learn about horticulture and everything about it in a practical way at the Hut. But now it’s time for new blood, new ideas and inputs! “
